Dragon Charity Climb for The Little Princess Trust

Our Challenge:

We challenged ourselves to climb three of the biggest peaks in the Brecon Beacons in less than 7 hours. Not only did we achieve this in 5 hours, but we also climbed an extra peak too!

The mountains we climbed were Corn Du, Pen Y Fan, Cribyn and Fan Y Big:

• Corn Du was our first peak – this is Pen y Fan’s flat-topped neighbour, and at an eye-catching 873 metres tall.
• Pen y Fan was next: the tallest peak in the Brecon Beacons, standing at an impressive 886 metres.
• Cribyn was our third peak which saw us reach 795 metres.
• Fan Y Big followed before our descent home. The 716-metre-high peak is a part of the Horseshoe Ridge Trail and is a subsidiary peak of Waun Rydd.

The Dragon FPL team were kindly joined by Paige and Lewys who kept us company! Despite the wet and windy weather, we all had an amazing day supporting an amazing cause.
